Napoleon Bonaparte was one of the most prolific military and political leaders in French history. Including a frontispiece portrait of Napoleon. Enclosed in the scarce original dust wrapper.

Containing a small sticker from'The Times Book Club' to the rear pastedown. In the publisher's original cloth binding.

Externally, generally smart, with some shelf wear to the boards and bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Slight fading to the cloth on the spine. Original unclipped dust wrapper is smart, with just some sunning to the spine and extremities, and some light chipping and edge wear. A very small amount of loss to the head of the back strip and the top right corner of the front of the wrap. A few spots to the first and last few pages, but pages are generally bright and clean. Overall Condition: Very Good Very Good. Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear. Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy. Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones. Often expected given the age of the book, but still a respectable copy. Some more serious faults as will. Be described in the condition report under'condition. Good Only - Meaning one or more faults that could really do with repair. As with good only above but with other faults. Leaving a compromised copy even after repair.
