Traditional Cambodian Organic Hand Woven Pure Silk. Genuine Khmer style over hundreds of years. Hol silk has over 200 patterns and three to five base colors (yellow raw silk, sometimes called golden silk, red, brown, blue and green).
Patterns are usually formed with animal, geometric or floral motifs. This One of a Kind Traditional silk is 100% hand woven, pure Cambodian silk. This silk is both a traditional and modern designed "hol", which has been woven from an individuals spool to produce intricate patterns that are most valuable and rare in the current market. This 100% naturally woven silk design size is woven to, momme size of 0.9144m wide, approximately 1 meter. Material: 100% Pure Hand Woven Silk.

As many of these silk weaves are "one of a kind" no hand woven silk is exactly the same, unless it is woven from the same loom as one. This makes them very unique and rare.
If a weaver has made only one, we can not guarantee it's availability. When an order is made we always discuss with the weaver a fair price before completing an order.
We do not have bulk stock of these unique silks. If you want bulk buys of up to three silks we can consult with the weaver. This would add an extra day or two to your order. It is very hard to find now especially hand woven. It is a silk that is 100% pure organic and hand made on a wooden loom. The trade is slowly dying and only a hand full of weavers are left as more imports, and factory woven silks flood the market. The weavers are suffering and we are trying to help get them sales for their wonderful unique fabric. Cambodian silk is made from the cocoon of the scarce Cambodian Golden Cocoon Silk (GCS) and yarn of the smaller Cambodian silk worm as opposed to the very plentiful, but lesser quality, silk yarn from the white silk cocoon woven in Cambodia using imported yarns from China, Thailand, Vietnam. You will be receiving a rare one of a kind material that will soon, I fear will become unobtainable.
